Refugee Claimants (also known as 'asylum seekers') are men, women and children who, fearing persecution in their country of origin have escaped into a safe country. They come seeking asylum and protection from conflict, oppressive regimes and personal persecution. Many of them long to return to their own country to be reunited with their friends and family, their own culture, their own language - a multitude of reasons to return and only one to remain here … their lives.

The Refugee Claimants Support Centre (Brisbane) can now be found on the net at their new domain: www.refugees.org.au

New Internationalist has taken on the CD - they are selling it on their web site.
